Friends! Our jury looked through 3120 photos that were sent on festival, and has chosen the best ones for an exhibition which will take place in «New Maneg» in February, 2012. You can see all the winners in different nominations of festival here.
The total exhibition of the Fourth international children's festival "the Photo as an image of the world" will take place from February, 14th till February, 16th, 2012 in showroom "New Maneg" (The address: Moscow, the Georgievsky lane, 3/3, p. 3)

Study in photo art
For participants of festival and all who are interested in training of photo art technics are invited to the new photoassociation «the Photo as an image of the world». Employment are conducted by Igor Herman, a member of the Union of photographers of Russia, a member of the Union of journalists of Russia. In the century of information technology the photo is that visual space which forms our picture of the world, becomes a conductor of the author's point of view, is storehouse of the information and that is important, an effective communication facility between people and even generations.
The international festival «the Photo as an image of the world» is the Internet project focused on children and youth from 8 years to 21 years, allowing a considerable quantity of children and youth creatively to communicate, exchange the impressions of the most different events of life through a photo, thereby, learning the world and yourself. Adults take part In the out-of-competition program of festival.
Every year the festival opens on June, 1st – the Day of protection of children. Accepting photos are possible till November, 10th, 2011. The total exhibition of winners of festival passes in showroom «New Maneg» in December – January.
The festival is spent fourth time. The number of participants increases. Young photographers take part in festival from Moscow, St.-Petersburg, Ekaterinburg, Tolyatti, Kursk, Volgograd, the Kirov, Ivanovo, Lipetsk, Kursk, Samara regions of Russia, and also of some foreign countries: France, Spain, Italy, the USA, Germany, Ukraine and Belarus. Last year 900 participants have sent about 6000 photos.
The structure of jury of festival includes known photographers and artists. The known Moscow photographer the academician of the Russian academy of a photo, a member of the Moscow union of artists and a member of the Creative union of artists of Russia the Lion Melikhov heads festival jury.
Reviving ideas of «peredvizhniki», works of winners within a year are exhibited at showrooms of a city of Moscow, prefectures of districts, Department of formation of Moscow, establishments of formation, the rehabilitation centers. In 2010-2011 16 thematic exhibitions have taken place on 30 exhibition places.
In July, 2011 an exhibition «Italy by eyes of Russians» and «In a lens – Russia» were shown in Italy in cities: Taranto and Massafra. It was a part of program of Year of the Russian culture and Russian in Italy and Year of the Italian culture and language in Russia. Rules of participation in festival contain in section of «a festival Rule».
